Dress code: formal, island chic. We advise ladies to avoid wearing thin heels on the island.
As we are limited by space and logistics, the wedding weekend will be an adults-only celebration.

GETTING TO SPETSES
By plane
For international guests travelling from outside Greece,
fly to Athens International Airport – Eleftherios Venizelos.
From Athens airport, there are two routes to Spetses – by sea or by car.
By sea
Pick a ferry from Piraeus Port (from Athens Airport, 1.5 hrs by public bus X96 or by taxi).
Ferry duration: 1hr 45 mins to 2hrs 30 mins.
Recommended to book tickets through:
OPTION A
Chauffeur Service
Helicars: offers direct pick up from Athens International Airport straight to Costa,
from which point you can take a Sea Taxi to Spetses (5 minutes).
Cost ~250€ cash one way (for up to 3 passengers).
Bigger cars are also available for larger groups.
Duration from Athens Airport to Costa: 2.5-3 hrs (depending on traffic).
OPTION B
With your own vehicle
Since private vehicles are prohibited from entering the island,
cars can be safely parked in private parking lots in Costa.
We would advise not to drive at night as there are many bends on the road after you leave the motorway.
From Costa*, there are two options to reach Spetses by sea.
By sea taxi – journey time: 5 minutes (available 24/7 from Costa port,
cost: ~35€/person, up to 8 persons) – for availability and rendezvous: +30 22980 72072.
Sea taxis usually stop at Dapia (main port) - but you can request the following stops at an extra cost:
Poseidonion Grand Hotel, Kounoupitsa (for Nissia hotel), Spetses Hotel, Old Port.
If coming by sea taxi call your hotel as your board, so they can expect you
at the relevant stop to help you with your luggage.
By ferry boat (Katerina Star or Spetses Express) – journey time:
15 minutes (itineraries every hour, cost: 3,50€/person).
If coming this way it is best to arrange a pick up at the main port of Dapia
with your hotel to help you with your luggage.
ACCOMMODATION
Spetses is a popular summer destination and often hosts several weddings each weekend.
Our wedding coincides with the Classic Yacht Race,
so we recommend booking accommodation asap.
We’ve secured special rates and room blocks at select hotels for our guests,
but there are also many lovely hotels and Airbnbs available on the island.

Agios Nikolaos
It is located on the coastal road that connects Dapia with the Old Port. It is ideal for a cool swim!
Zogeria
Famous for its pine forest and crystal clear waters, Zogeria is a beach you must visit!
You will find more secluded beaches in the large bay of Zogeria.
The traditional tavern of Zogeria is a must and one of the best on the island!
Kouzounos
A secluded beach with crystal clear waters that stands out for its panoramic view of Spetsopoula!
Agia Paraskevi
This beach composes one of the most beautiful landscapes of the island! Organized with a bar, accessible by boat.
Xilokeriza
Pebbly beach with crystal clear waters – there is a canteen with refreshments and snacks!
Vrelos
Organized beach with clear blue waters and white pebbles.
There you will also find Vrelos Beach bar.
Kaiki
One of the most well-organized beaches of the island with sunbeds, umbrellas and water sports.

Agia Marina

Spetses' Highlights

- Rent a traditional caique for a day tour or a bike
- Walk from Dapia to the lighthouse at the Old Port,
passing the mansions of the captains and the traditional cobbled streets
of the island (very nice walk in the evening when cooler)
- Visit the Bouboulina Museum: Laskarina Bouboulina was a heroine
of the Greek Revolution of 1821, commander of the navy and admiral of the
imperial Russian Navy. There are guided tours in English
